Is this correct or can it be dangerous? if a doctor asked to
take 50 MG Tablet, but I took half of 100 MG?
The main base of the tablet is an element called excipient.
It mainly uses an element called magnesium stearate. It is a type of (smokeless
and tasteless) zero element. It is a type of binder and a preservative.
Some tablets are eaten by breaking, some are not eaten by
breaking.
Any tablet has a potency. Such as a 50mg or 100mg tablet. But
this potency is sometimes not present in many tablets, it stays in one part of
the structure of that tablet.
That is, if you eat a single piece of that medicine, it may be
that you are not taking half of that medicine, but you are taking full potency,
or you are taking excipient.
Then which medicines can be eaten by dividing into two or
four parts.
Some drugs score. Scores are called drugs on which the
dividing line is drawn. This line shows 1/2 or 1/4 part.
If a drug has a potency of 100mg and has drawn 1/4 lines
dividing it, it means that each part of it has an equivalent potency of 25mg.
That is, it can be eaten by breaking.
But one of The common question is that if one part has been eaten by
breaking, then what should be done for the remaining part.
Keep in mind that medicines make chemical changes of moisture
and light, so the remaining part of it should be kept well from moisture and
light and then use it.
Other doctors have also reported that some drugs are released
on sustained release, and release. That means something slowly dissolves. Some
layer by layer dissolves. They are not broken and eaten.
